The Oregon canned fruits festival is on its way to its final destination, which will bring together a diverse group of people who are looking to celebrate a fun, creative, and safe time together.
The event is an opportunity for people from all over Oregon to come together and share in a celebration of the diversity of our great state.
It’s one of the best events for everyone, said Amanda Jones, one of Oregon’s most successful chefs, who helped bring the canned fruit festivals to Portland, Oregon.
“It’s so inclusive, and it’s so diverse,” she said.
“I’ve been to a few, and I’m definitely not alone.
I think it’s one more place where we can celebrate the diversity in our state.”
As one of Portland’s most celebrated chefs, Jones has been involved in bringing the Oregon canned festival to the city for almost two decades.
She was instrumental in bringing to life the canned fruits that have been sold in grocery stores since 1999.
Jones and the festival team had already been working on the event for months when they realized the canned food could be an even bigger success.
Jones, who works for a major foodservice company, said that she and her husband were in the process of getting ready to move to Oregon, but decided to go ahead with the event because they were inspired by the canned foods being sold in their stores.
“We had a lot of ideas about how we could make it even more inclusive, so we came up with the idea of the canned refreshment,” Jones said.
“The freshest, best tasting, most nutritious canned fruits are what we wanted to be able to offer to everyone.
That’s what we were going for, to make it a really inclusive event.”
The canned refreshments include fresh fruit, jams, jellies, granola, frozen foods, sauces, fruit drinks and more.
Jones said they will also be bringing the festival’s signature food, the Portland Cheeseburger, which is available to everyone in the festival, even if they aren’t able to purchase it.
“Our goal was to bring the best ingredients, to bring people together and bring people a celebration that they can all share,” Jones added.
“We were really happy with how it turned out.”
The Oregon canned refreshmented foods will be available in a limited number of grocery stores around the state, which have announced plans to sell them.
Jones expects to sell between 3,000 to 5,000 cans each day, and she said that more than 100 of the cans will be from the Portland area.
“I don’t think we’ve ever had a festival in Portland before, and we’re hoping that’s a huge success for us,” she added.
Jones said the canned refreshers are a way to share in the joy of food while also making the event fun.
“When we’re cooking and preparing, we’re in the moment and we don’t have time to think about food or drink, so that’s what this freshest fresh, best-tasting, most nutrient-dense canned refresh is all about,” she explained.
“It’s a way for us to share the experience of eating in the kitchen.”
Jones said she and the event team have already created a few of the freshest canned refresh drinks available for sale.
They have plans to bring canned refresh beverages to the rest of the country, and they plan to bring a canned refresh dessert to Oregon’s summerfest.
“You can really do a lot with just a few ingredients,” Jones explained.
Jones plans to have the fresher, freshest refreshments on display at the Oregon Capitol during the festival.
Jones will be the event’s host, but she said she is looking forward to having guests come to the event and have a great time.
“There’s no question that I love bringing this festival to Portland.
I love hosting it, I love the food, and now I love sharing it with the world,” Jones told The Oregonian.
